Character Biographies:
Our central characters are a group of 4 friends: Louis, Mark, Nathan, and Kevin. All of 4 four characters
study at the same international school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
- Louis: 16 years old; the main character of the opening scene. His interests are playing basketball and video games.
- Mark: 16 years old; Louis' closest friend among others; and is also the main character of the opening
scene. His interests are weightlifting and video games.
- Nathan: 16 years old; the bravest person in the group. His interests are weightlifting, playing basketball,
and video games.
- Kevin: 16 years old; he is the latest member of the friend group. He recently moved to the same school
as the others and quickly accepted him as a group member. His interests are in eating; video games; and
weightlifting.
Relevant Social Issues:
- Louis: Has minor phonophobia, which is the fear of sudden noise. The proof is that he constantly doubts
the group's decision to discover what's behind the gate. Although Mark has convinced him, he is still
nervous.
